Westpac and Ethan Indigenous Back Sydney All Blacks’ Youth

01/11/2026
Westpac and Ethan Indigenous have joined forces to donate ten laptops to young people at the recent Sydney All Blacks Rugby League Club (SAB) Round Robin Carnival.

Made possible through Westpac's long-standing partnership with Ethan Indigenous, the donation forms part of the Laptop for Indigenous Youth Program, helping young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people access technology for education, training and employment.

With schoolwork, training and job applications increasingly conducted online, access to a reliable computer has become essential. For young people without ready access to technology, everyday tasks such as completing assignments, creating resumes and developing digital skills can present significant challenges.

The laptops will help recipients overcome some of these barriers, providing practical tools to support their education and future career opportunities.

The initiative also demonstrates how partnerships between major organisations and Indigenous-owned businesses can deliver benefits beyond their commercial relationship.

Through its partnership with Ethan Indigenous, Westpac supports programs that reinvest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, extending the impact of its supplier diversity commitments beyond the workplace.

For Ethan Indigenous, the Laptop for Indigenous Youth Program is part of a broader commitment to creating opportunities for future generations and ensuring that commercial success delivers meaningful benefits to Indigenous communities.

The Sydney All Blacks Rugby League Club provided a fitting setting for the donation, with its Round Robin Carnival bringing together young players, families and supporters through sport.
